My hero, J.R.R. Tolkien

J.R.R.Tolkien is my hero because I read a book that he wrote. He wrote a book called the Hobbit. The Hobbit my my favourite book. The Hobbit is about a dragon called Smaug, who flies and takes over Thorin's land. There is only one person, says the magical story, that can slay the dragon. That person is the Hobbit. His name is Bilbo Baggins.

Tolkien was born in BloemfonteinSouth Africa but his parents were both from England. He fought in World War I, and after the war he found a job helping to produce the Oxford English Dictionary. Tolkien was very interested in languages, and he had studied at Oxford University. Soon he became a professor of English Language at the University of Leeds. He was then a professor at the University of Oxford until 1959, when he retired. He also was good friends with many other writers and scholars, most notably C. S. Lewis, who wrote the Narnia books, The Screwtape Letters, and many essays on Christian theology. Tolkien himself was a devout Catholic.
Tolkien married Edith Mary Bratt on March 221916 in England at the age of 24 They had four children, three sons and a girl: John, Michael, Christopher, and Priscilla.

My Favourite Food: Best Omelette Ever!

I like to eat omelette egg .  The first omelette I ever ate was at a hotel my family stayed at in The Kruger National Park. As the plate arrived my Mother told me it tasted delicious so I had a bite. Inside were mushroom, cheese, onions and peppers. It felt like I was dreaming.

Now that I am older I would like to learn how to make them myself. I have been looking in my school library for a cookbook with the right recipe.

If I made my own omelette I would fill it with chillis, cheese, onions, meat, peppers, a little pumpkin, polony and tomatoes.
